Title:
Network drivers are loaded too late on netboot (tested with iSCSI)
Status in initramfs-tools package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: initramfs-tools
Ubuntu-Server 10.04LTS
initramfs-tools: 0.92bubuntu78
On boot I see ipconfig throwing errors because the network drivers are
loaded to late. It does continue to boot properly but this bug might
cause problems in the future. I added a script loading the proper
driver in /etc/initramfs-tools/scripts/init-top/ . This is a
workaround and should be resolved in the main init script.
