The packages updated a few minutes ago to Debian unstable (which still
need a few hours to be installed into the archive, autobuilt, etc) are
based on the *REVISED* release.

Title:
upstream release 20240813 was updated without version bump

Status in intel-microcode package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Just a heads-up that Intel updated their 20240813 release [1], as of
writing 8 hours ago, by replacing the release files (and apparently
repushing the git commit! [2]) but without bumping the version.
Whereas the current Ubuntu release has the contents of the original
release from ca 2 days ago.
