I see several things:

1- dmesg is full of errors related to the PCIe bus

2- you had just installed or were installing the nvidia proprietary
driver

3- a more specific failure here is "/var/lib/dpkg/tmp.ci/preinst: 44: 3:
Bad file descriptor"
