Ok, so upon testing in a virtual machine with 64GB, I can now revise my
previous test: Ubuntu Studio needs a minimum of 24.4GB to uncompress the
squashfs and add a swapfile before removing ubiquity and its
dependencies. With my previous test, it only had 15GB to deal with, so
it was denied the required space and did not have the option to auto-
resize. (see screenshot).

Leaving as confirmed, but setting priority to low.

  Ubuntu Mantic Minotaur (development branch) 23.10 (Oct. 9th) ISO Disk
  Setup tab is missing the Auto-resize partition option.

  Missing resize option was verified both from the Try kubuntu and
  Install Kubuntu install routes.

  The only options available are:
  - Guided - use entire disk
  - Guided - use entire disk and setup LVM
  - Guided - use entire disk and setup encrypted LVM
