Tnx a lot for kind reply :)
I double checked  the installation media (even tried a re-build using
Rufus) but same error occurred.
Anyway, after reading your mail, I swapped media (I was trying install
using a 128GB pendrive) and used an old 8GB one:
it worked like a charm :)))
