Thanks for the help Bernard!

This is actually a glitch in the installer itself in which the slideshow
sometimes doesn't show at all. That said, the entire installer is in the
process of being replaced and we're so early in the cycle that I just
haven't had time to act on it.

So, sadly, I'm going to close this as invalid, but I appreciate the
enthusiasm!

  QA Testing of:
  Daily build 20231120 installed in virtual box.
  Edubuntu 24.04 slideshow is showing a white blank page,
  no slideshow during install.
  Install performed as expected full disk install.
  Slideshow may be in the process of being redesigned.
