32-bit UEFI is not a supported install target for Ubuntu.

Title:
  grub-efi-ia32 destroys booting

Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
  Afer a release-upgrade from 23.04 to 23.10, grub boot loader is
  corrupted.

  (maybe intel-microcode involved?*)
  *intel-microcode was upgraded just before the release update, without reboot in between.

  **Expected Behavior**
  After powering on the computer, it will boot into Ubuntu 23.10 via GRUB/efi

  **Experienced instead**
  GRUB returned the message, "You have to load the kernel first. Press any key to continue." and then returned back to the GRUB menu.

  **What i tried**

  1. After choosing "Advanced boot options", same results for all of the installed kernels.
  2. Entering to edit the parameters with "e" and executing with "CTRL-X", the same message appeard, followed by "initrd_img() returned error 0x80000003" (or similar).
  3. Secure boot disabled
  4. BIOS set to "setup mode"
  5. Skipping the UUID by manualy choosing the (hd1,gpt3) doesn't work either.
  6. Chroot into the system and
      apt install --reinstall grub
      apt install--reinstall grub-efi-ia32
      upadate-initramfs -c -k all
      update-grub
     with no errors
  7. downgrade intel-microcode

  **What worked, so far**
  Booting from USB-drive with GRUB 2.11

  **System**
  Lenovo miix 300

  $ lsb_release -rd
  No LSB modules are available.
