Hi, thanks for taking the time to report this.

However, looking at DpkgTerminalLog:

/usr/sbin/ldconfig: 3: Syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")")

combined with the fact that the dmesg logs are filled with squashfs logs
makes me think this is a disk problem rather than an issue with the
ldconfig script. Thus marking this bug as Invalid.
