Title:
trying out different linux OS's, comparing flavors. got to raspberry
pi os and realized i need to come back to ubuntu.

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
im trying out different linux operating systems on seperate low end
products i have found on the side of the road. i have Proxmox on an
HPtouchsmart 300, oracle linux 9 on an old $30 lenovo "chromebook" and
raspberry pi os 32-bit on this dell optiplex 765. i came to a point
where i realized, i couldnt create any live boot usb drives on the
count that im just now learning how to use proxmox and virtual
enviroments, was having a hard time finding an answer on wiki or the
document page on connecting virtual machines to the external
peripherals. on my lenovo, after the initial boot up of oracle linux
  9. i find out my laptop isnt recieving any wifi signal. turns out
oracle is more inclined for higher end and commercial products. im
assuming my laptop didnt make the list of the drivers and software it
includes in their recent releases. As of this Dell, im currently on.
its always been a picky rig. From what ive seen, 32 bit and legacy has
been its favorite. so when i saw that raspberry pi had a desktop
version. i wanted to see what the hype was all about and was
unfortunately not impressed on account of the lack of support for i386
and 32 bit systems. with all that happening at the same time. luckily
i came accross some documents on how to create live usb boot drives
using dd through the terminal. what i thought was a turn of events and
a blessing in disguise upon the newly acquired kung-terminal-fu
skills. i see i mightve celebreated a tad bit prematurely.
