Title:
No longer access Buffalo RAID server which requires cifs vers=1.0

Status in cifs-utils package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  https://johnnywunder.info/mywiki/index.php/Cannot_access_Buffalo_RAID_server

Cannot access server through cifs after upgrade to 23.04. Other
machines and smbclient all still work. Error in kern.log is -22 and
on mount command get invalid argument.

Suspect dropping of ntlm in kernel.

Have tried many different mount parameters and none work for Buffalo
  NAS server.
