It's possible you had a bad write to your installation media or for some
other reason its contents could not be read correctly.

Also, Ubuntu 15.04 (vivid) reached end-of-life on February 4, 2016.

I'm closing this report as this isn't a bug with the Ubuntu installer.

  recovery it.
