Public bug reported:

CPC sees recurrent build failures across multiple series when process
reaches the function "umount_partition". This is due to e2fsck failing
with the following error:

+ e2fsck -y -E discard /dev/mapper/loop3p1
e2fsck 1.45.5 (07-Jan-2020)
/dev/mapper/loop3p1 is in use.
e2fsck: Cannot continue, aborting.

However, at this point the partition is not mounted anymore nor used by
any process inside the LXD container.

** Affects: livecd-rootfs (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
