Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The relevant DpkgTerminalLog is:

```

The logs do not say which other process locked debconf. I'll re-assign
the bug to debconf. To fix the locking issue: Retry the installation. It
that does not help, reboot and retry.

  I was trying to fix an issue with installing a virtual machine so i
