Title:
no easy way to tell which repo is hanging an update

Status in apt package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
When a repository is extremely slow or unresponsive, apt-get update
hangs with a "[Waiting for headers]" message. There is no way to tell
which repository is causing the hang.

A soft kill (specifically SIGINT), received by apt-get should cause
it to display the repository currently being accessed prior to
  termination.
