Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. According to the logs the system fails to determine the
current kernel version. Can you attach /tmp/flash-kernel-no-kernel-
error.log?

The attached Dmesg.txt says:

This version does not look like a Ubuntu kernel version. Did you install
a custom Linux kernel?
