Ubuntu 21.10 (impish) reached end-of-life on July 14, 2022.

We appreciate that this bug may be old and you might not be interested
in discussing it any more. But if you are then please re-test using a
supported Ubuntu version. If you then find the bug is still present in
the newer Ubuntu version, please add a comment here telling us which new
version it is in.

Errors such as

2022-09-12 09:59:59,614 ERROR IOError/SystemError in cache.update():
'E:Failed to fetch
http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/impish/main/binary-i386/Packages

require an additional manual step necessary due to EOL as documented
here - https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EOLUpgrades  This step also
allows you to ensure all upgraded packages are indeed applied.

I've marked this 'incomplete' due to EOL status. If the error is
discovered on a supported release, please provide details as to the
release, and the status can be returned to "New". If you believe I'm
error, it can also be returned to "New" after leaving a message with
details.
