** Description changed:
[Impact]
With systemd 249.11-0ubuntu3.5 in jammy-proposed, which enables systemd-
repart, the TEST-58-REPART fails on ppc64el:
https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/results/autopkgtest-
jammy/jammy/ppc64el/s/systemd/20220906_165335_6dd88@/log.gz.
- This is due to a missing commit from upstream:
+ After trying to cherry-pick upstream commits, including [1], the test is
+ still failing on ppc64el. This may be a testbed issue, and for now it
+ seems the best course is to skip the test.
[Test Plan]
- This fix is verified by TEST-58-REPART passing in autopkgtest on
- ppc64el.
+ This fix is verified by TEST-58-REPART being skipped on ppc64el.
[Where problems could occur]
- The patch is confined to the testsuite-58.sh script, so problems would
- show up in TEST-58-REPART.
+ If we messed up the denylist usage, the test would not be skipped, or a
+ different one would be.
