Hello Dan,

When I check both files with `ls -l` I get:

$ ls -l /lib/ld-linux.so.2
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 28 jul  7 01:23 /lib/ld-linux.so.2 -> i386-linux-gnu/ld-linux.so.2

$ ls -l /usr/lib/ld-linux.so.2
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 225864 jul  7 01:23 /usr/lib/ld-linux.so.2

When I try to install the usrmerge package manually, I get the same
error.

By the way.
After a restart of my ubuntu machine, ubuntu does not recognize my wired network anymore.
Can this be related?

Bug description:
  During the upgrade from ubuntu 20.04 LTS to 22.04 LTS installation of package usrmerge crashed.
  I don't know in what state the usrmerge package is on mijn desktop computer right now. And if this is has impact on further functionality while running ubuntu 22.04
