Public bug reported:

Upgraded kernel yesterday on 20.04
Restarted and nvidia/cuda not working
Followed action recommended by updater
Removed a load of nvidia stuff

After trying to re-install nvidia driver came to the conclusion that
it's no longer compatible with latest 20.04 kernel so decided to upgrade
to 22.04

Upgrade fails due to 3rd party held packages, recommend ppa-purge

System reports no held packages so unsure what to purge

Feel a bit stuck
