    - debian/control: move popularity-contest from a recommends to a suggests
      so that popularity-contest can be a universe package.

  * Replace calls to egrep and fgrep with grep and the according options.

Bug description:
  Debian released version 0.88.1 which substitutes all calls to
  deprecated fgrep, egrep, rgrep by their replacement using grep.

  Since we want to keep popularity-contest in universe, it makes sense
  to keep our delta.
