It does not sound like this is an ubuntu-release-upgrader bug, but I can
help you find the right package. Which screen are you referring to
exactly? A screenshot would help if possible.

Bug description:
  Looks like the release is hard coded, or a screen did not get updated.. 
  It shows the right logo for 22.10, but states Ubuntu version is 22.04.
