Can't use ubiquity to install Live USB-SATA-SSD system onto another
system. Crashes after selecting partition for installation.

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
would be nice-to-have if it could work
This laptop needs acpi=off (workaround when no battery connected) in UEFI mode. When the checkbox for additional drivers is selected the then-installed nvidia driver isn't able to work in combination with acpi=off .
