report? Then this should be fairly easy to fix.

Bug description:
  (I am reporting this from the host: I tried to report this bug 6 times
  in the VM and it always logged me out.)

  When unpacking a crash report (specifically that of bug #1981613),
  apport-unpack extracts most or all of the files correctly and then
  raises the following exception:
