  "Show differences between configuration files" does not

Status in update-manager package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  This would be either the package scripts of "unattended-upgrades" or
  in the graphical UI "update-manager".

  Upgrading with update-manager, the upgrade from unattended-upgrades
  version 2.3ubuntu0.1
  to
  version 2.3ubuntu0.3

  opened action dialog for differeneces between configuration files.

  I selected "show difference between files", but no diff was presented and /var/log/apt/term.log states
  ```
  Setting up unattended-upgrades (2.3ubuntu0.3) ...
  Installing new version of config file /etc/kernel/postinst.d/unattended-upgrades
  ```

  $ lsb_release -rd
  Description:	Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS
  Release:	20.04
