I download the file https://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gzip/gzip-1.12.tar.gz
I Untar it tar xvzf with ubuntu 20
I copy all the files to Ubuntu 22
I run the ./configure
I run make
I run sudo make install
I exit the terminal
I log in again
and the new gzip 1.12 work very good
