Drive was "no OS" and apparently the partition table was ms-dos, Wiped
and created a new partition tab;e. Maybe loader should detect
incompatible tables.

Fresh install with manual partitions. Tried several times using sda,
sda7, sda1
Kubuntu 20.04.1. Before last try I did apt update & upgrade. SO. now
Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS.
