Sorry for the slow follow up. Issues with the new desktop installer are
better reported at https://github.com/canonical/ubuntu-desktop-
installer/issues. As this is from a few months ago and much has changed
in new desktop installer land, I'm just going to close this.

Bug description:
  trying the installer from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-
  canary/pending/ dated 2021-06-15 10:10 the screen for Keyboard layout
  is empty so i can't select a keyboard and continue with installation
