I was installing Ubuntu 20.04 over a corrupted Ubuntu 18.04 system.

  Reinstalling Ubuntu 20.04

Status in grub-installer package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  First time I tried to reinstall on top of Ubuntu 18.04, crashed with corrupted buffer.
  Second time I tried to reinstall, it failed because it could not overwrite Grub.
  Third time I tried to reinstall, it failed without a clear reason the I did not understand.
