Title:
entering grub and getting to the grub command prompt should not be the
  same key

Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
When you need to see the grub menu you press ESC.

Once you are at the grub menu pressing ESC puts you into the grub
  command prompt.

This is a horrible user experience and often lands users directly into
the grub command prompt with no idea how to get back to the grub menu.

Look how popular this question is -
  https://askubuntu.com/questions/381613/how-to-return-from-grub-prompt-
  to-the-grub-menu

  This should really be changed.
