it is what occurred during my attempted install

did you follow through and file a bug report?

I couldn't begin to guess what the problem is

I only know I encounntered it on 2021-11-08
tests before that had completed successfully

I hope someone with the expertise to deal with this comes along

  install to a thumb drive successful
  begin install to PC using manual partitioning
  nVidia machine so using safe graphics

  install crashed just before completion
  previous daily (2021-11-07) installed without error
