Title:
  lintian: failed autopkg tests

Status in lintian package in Ubuntu:
  In Progress

Bug description:
  In autopkg tests lintian build fail with:

  autoreconf: warning: autoconf input should be named 'configure.ac', not 'configure.in'
  autoreconf: warning: 'configure.ac' and 'configure.in' both present.
  autoreconf: proceeding with 'configure.ac'
  autoreconf: error: configure.ac: AC_INIT not found; not an autoconf script?
  dh_autoreconf: error: autoreconf -f -i returned exit code 1
  make[1]: *** [debian/rules:6: binary] Error 25

  AC_INIT is missing in macro-not-cross-compilation-safe/build-
  spec/orig/src/configure.ac.

  Measures:

  * create new ubuntu release
  * create Debian bug

  Best regards

  Heinrich
