Public bug reported:

Clean installation on a HP EliteDesk computer fails.
Installation media was checked OK by the installer, and was previously used to install Ubunto on another computer.
I did not make any "out-of-the-ordinary" selections in the installation process, mostly "next-next".
I do not know of other useful information.
