Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.

The 'ppc' architecture is no longer a supported architecture. This was
announced long ago, ie. https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-devel-
announce/2016-December/001199.html

Because of this, I've changed the bug status to 
'Invalid' as you are not on a supported architecture for the intended upgrade process. 

If you believe I'm in error, please leave a comment explaining why and
the status can be returned to "New".
