I've more information on what I suspect is a regression.  Attempting
20.04.1-LTS on an emachines/acer EL1210-09 (Acer DA078l: AMD Athlon
LE-1620; nVIDIA nForce 780a MCP (C77 GPU in northbridge), msi
GT610-1GD3-L (nVIDIA GF119, 1 GiB VRAM)), the installer would crash
consistently if I attempted 3rd-party drivers.  18.04.5-LTS installs
without a hitch.
