  apport hangs after <cancel>

Bug description:
  I wanted to report a bug using "ubuntu-bug -w", but clicked on the wrong panel so when apport displayed the panel saying "collecting problem information" I clicked <cancel>.
  The panel wen dark and has stayed dark for a long time.
