Please try removing the ubuntustudio-desktop-core package (which last
available in Focal) and attempt the upgrade again. Thanks in advance!

Bug description:
  upgrading from ubuntu studio 21.04 to 21.10 did not work. It
  complained about a third part ppa, which in my case is pipewire. I
  disabled it and it made no difference.
