The log suggests it had issue probing partitions

  No idea what happened, just crashed? Something to do with the uefi.

Bug description:
  Tried to install Ubuntu on a blank hdd, tried to choose the correct
  settings it wanted, then it just crashed?  "ubi-partman failed with
  error code 141". Trying to continue installation tho!? See what
  happens.
