Public bug reported:
Hello.
I installed the Hirsute Hippo version (21.04) in a partition of a USB stick. The boot is slow. This is certainly normal. But a lot of "time-out" messages are reported in the log. The first one met
is "failed to start commit a transient machine-id on disk".
I do not know that they will be the consequences. Is it possible to configure the waiting time?
** Affects: systemd (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
