Thanks for the follow up. This link was not exactly safe nor something
packages can work around.

  libc6 fails to install and crashes system

Status in glibc package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  To correct this I have to:

  - boot from an image
  - extract the contents of "libc6_2.33-0ubuntu4_amd64.deb" (dpkg --extract)
  - copy all files in (extracted)/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/* to /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/
