Installation successful by turning off WiFi, not checking 'download
updates while installing ubuntu' and not checking 'install third-party
software for graphics and WiFi hardware and additional media formats'.
Once your installation is complete, if you connect to WiFi, ubuntu will
request software updates, which you can allow then.

  1. Install Ubuntu Desktop on hardware with an nVidia card and select to install 3rd party drivers
  2. Proceed with installation
