Title:
Installer windows do not fit on screen, when live-CD only boots with
  800x600 screen resolution

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I recently got a new laptop, ThinkPad E14 G2 with AMD Ryzen 7 4700U
with Radeon Graphics. The live-system boots only with a screen
resolution of 800x600, which cannot be increased. The problem is that
the windows of the installer do not fit the screen so that the buttons
for "cancel", "back" and, most importantly, "continue" are not visible
on the screen. Thus any novice trying to install Ubuntu/Linux on a
recent laptop with AMD hardware will surely despair and be turned off
from using Ubuntu/Linux. I suggest that the windows of the installer
get a scroll bar to make it feasible to install Ubuntu in such cases.
