Me either, suddenly I am able to boot the live ISOs again... sigh... we
did lose power the other night (which forced me to reboot my
workstation) so maybe something was stuck somewhere? I dunno... marking
it as invalid as whatever the issue was it has resolved itself.

Title:
Cannot install KVM guest from Focal Live Server ISO image but Legacy
  ISO works

Status in subiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
I was trying to set up a Focal KVM guest just now and cannot get the
20.04.1 release Live Server image to boot in KVM. I downloaded from
releases.ubuntu.com and verified that the SHA256 sums check out (they
do). ALso, just to be doubly sure, I downloaded the image a second
time and verified that one as well.

When I try booting the image as a CD/DVD on my KVM guest (using virt-
manager on my 18.04 desktop system), the guest fails to boot with the
  error message:

Boot failed: could not read from CDROM (code 0009)

I tried changing the CDROM drive in KVM settings between IDE, SATA and
  SCSI with no change.

I also tried, as mentioned above, booting the image after downloading
it a second time, just to be sure, and that failed.

I next downloaded the Focal legacy image from cdimages.ubuntu.com,
that one booted immediately and allowed me to proceed installing my
  KVM guest.

I have KVM/Qemu version 1:2.11+dfsg-1ubuntu7.31 from Bionic Updates
installed as well as libvirt 4.0.0-1ubuntu8.17, also from Updates.

  So, to summarize:
20.04.1 Live Server ISO - no boot in KVM
Focal Legacy Server ISO - Successful boot in KVM

Both images are the AMD64 ISOs.
