The verification of the Stable Release Update for update-motd has
completed successfully and the package is now being released to
-updates.  Subsequently, the Ubuntu Stable Release Updates Team is being
unsubscribed and will not receive messages about this bug report.  In
the event that you encounter a regression using the package from
-updates please report a new bug using ubuntu-bug and tag the bug report
regression-update so we can easily find any regressions.

Bug description:
  [Impact]

   * This impacts Ubuntu WSL 20.04+ and all other systems that uses
  update-motd on the terminal.

  [Test Case]

   * Remove ~/.motd_shown
   * Start a new terminal, see if it is fixed

  [Regression Potential]

   * This is only a change of the text. Potential regressions would be a
  result of the patch having typo that caused error.

  [Original Bug Report]

  "This message is shown once once a day." contains a typo.

  It should read:

  "This message is shown once a day."
