Title:
deleted the ppa, yet can't upgrade

Status in ubuntu-release-upgrader package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
I keep getting unresolveable error. Can not figure out how to fix to
move to the next stage. Initially it was ppa - but using ppa-purge,
none could be found. Then manually removed all references in
  /etc/apt/ folder, still no resolution.
