[Bug 1880412] [NEW] CLI displays unknown extra IP Address

Public bug reported:
While working to set up an additional IP Address on the server from
VMWare, somehow the MOTD is coming up with an extra IP Address that
doesn't exist on the interface (172.16.50.7).
MOTD + ifconfig output below demonstrating the bug :
