Our default installs are:
- ext4
- zfs
- ext4 on lvm
- ext4 on lvm on luks
We currently do not support any other automated parititioning schemes.
Having btrfs on lvm, is custom install, which is not default ubuntu
experience. And even if btrfs subvolumes got reused in the past, it was
not inteded to be so I don't think.
I do expect manually configuring btrfs without lvm, it should work using
manual layout. (and boot).
btrfs on lvm => i'm not sure that makes any sense.
btrfs on luks does make sesne.
Can you provide reduced reproducer steps, using clean installs, rather
than reusing your existing installs?
