Title:
autodetect hostname from existing GNU/Linux installs
Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Status in ubiquity package in Baltix:
New
Bug description:
Binary package hint: ubiquity
Similar to the way Ubiquity offers to import user settings, it would
be really neat if it could automatically suggest a hostname for the
new install based on what your existing installs are called. My laptop
had 2 installs before i installed feisty alongside, both called
"Evangelion". I'd have been impressed if it could have guessed the
name i wanted this time :)
