Title:
apport could help the user search for already existing bugs with a
  link

Status in Apport:
  Triaged
Status in apport package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
When apport creates a bug report it already has details of the
package, and other stuff. A link that would launch the browser with an
appropriate search url could make it easier for people to see if their
issue was already reported, or fixed.

This was something I mentioned to Brian Murray during his
presentation, and he thought it was a good idea.
