Title:
Downloading updates while installing is off by default
Status in Ayatana Design:
Fix Committed
Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Currently the "Download updates while installing" option is unchecked
by default.
If there is an Internet connection, it makes sense for the option to
be checked by default. It's still present at all so that you can turn
it off if you're installing while using an expensive connection.
<http://goo.gl/jDxJC>: "This checkbox should be checked by default if
there is an Internet connection, or insensitive and unchecked if there
isn’t."
