Title:
11.04 installer crashed midway on fresh install

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
Can't attach the log files because desktop session failed to launch
after the installer crashed and said it was finished. The error
dialog that popped up said something about failing in a check for
updates-available. Sorry i can't be more helpful. It was using a
newly downloaded 11.04 Live CD. I ran disk check, then memory test,
(from the CD menu), and since I had recently tried just using the Live
CD for 10.10, I selected Install Xubuntu without launching a desktop
session from this 11.04 cd first.
